Hello loves of my life! I also agree with the cornyness of this but....i think its a great idea and will hopefully be very effective! So now's that I've been yelled at by hope for not blogging I figured it was time to fill you all in on my life as well lol. Roberto and I are still loving our apartment, new jersey, AND (most importantly) living together! I am STILL looking for a teaching job, no luck at all yet! The more I talk to teachers I know they all tell me "times are rough, even tenored teachers are getting laid off so you just have to wait it out"-this is not at allll what I want to hear! But I'm still sending out resumes all the time. I'm also still working at Ann Taylor in the mean time. Not exactly a job that requires a 4 year degree but it pays the bills! I love the people I work with and I have a lot of fun. This morning in fact I had work at 6am but it was fun stuff. I help out with a lot of the visual stuff so I have fun pretending to be a Lauren Conrad lol. It makes me want a fashion degree, maybe I would have a job if i had just switched majors dammit! lo jk.
I still haven't started my master's, although I'm dying to! The program I'm going to do requires you to have 1 year experience before you can apply so clearly I need a teaching job first. I'm going to go for Literacy and will come out as a certified literacy coach/reading specialist (which is a whole other job in schools, so if i wanted to be a school's reading specialist or literacy coach I could always do that instead of just being a regular elementary teacher). So once I get a job I can apply to grad school.
I guess that is about it for now. Oh-I was talking to Danny the other day and he mentioned us all trying to go up to school the weekend of the fashion show-thoughts? I'm not sure when this is but I will keep you all posted!!
